Brand and Personal Planning Hack

Rob shared an excellent brand planning hack for brands or for personal career planning. We’ve used this for a number of years, having worked with small to large brands. We also help people who want to relaunch their own brands, and this hack is applicable for individuals as well. VISION

What is your 3/5 year vision for you or your company, for yourself? Where are you heading to? What do you want to achieve? Capture this in a set of words that remind you of your journey. This is important - for us, this is so important, this is what we called our company after. We help CEOs and Boards set a vision for the future. There has never been a better time to reset, recalibrate for the new landscape we will be entering into in the coming months.

BACKGROUND & HISTORY

What is the background to your business, what journey has it taken? What have you achieved along the way? If you’re an individual, what is your history, what have you learnt? When you combine the vision with your background you create something very powerful. You need to be very succinct in these circles.

BEHAVIOUR & TONE

How are we going to act and behave in business going forward? What are the changes we will make? How will we go about our daily work with our colleagues, clients, suppliers and connections? The fundamental change in this crisis is our tone - it will be a key differentiator in the next few years. It has become more important, as it is easy to get it wrong online. Get the right pitch that is authentic to you and meets the customer needs of the people you’re trying to connect with.
